- Position the insertion point where you want to add a
photo gallery.
Or, click
to create a blank page.
- On the Insert menu,
click Web Component.
- In the left pane, click
Photo Gallery.
- In the right pane, select the type of layout you want to
use.
A de ion of the selected layout appears below it.
- Click Finish.
The Photo
Gallery Properties dialog box automatically opens.
- Click Add to insert a
graphic into the photo gallery.
Note You can add as many graphics at a time as
you want.
- Select one of the following:
Pictures
from files
Locate and select the graphic you want to use, and click
Open.
Pictures
from a scanner or camera
- From the list, select the device from which you will
be adding a graphic.
- Depending upon what type of device you selected,
choose the resolution you want.
- Depending upon what type of device you selected,
select Insert or
Custom Insert.
- Follow the directions for your specific device.
- To rearrange the order in which the photos or graphics
will appear in the photo gallery, select the name of the
graphic, and click Move Up
or Move Down.
- Do one or more of the following:
Change
the thumbnail size of the graphic
Specify the width and height of the
thumbnail in the Width
and H eight boxes under
Thumbnail size.
Note Thumbnails are
automatically created.
Add
a caption or de ion below the graphic
Note If you choose
Montage Layout, the
text boxes for Caption and
De ion will be
unavailable (grayed out).
- Click the graphic that has the caption you want to
edit.
- A preview of the graphic is displayed next to its
name.
- In the Caption box,
type the caption you want to appear under the graphic.
- In the De ion
box, type the de ion you want to appear in the space
below the graphic and its caption.
Change
the layout of the photo gallery
- Click the Layout tab.
- Choose a layout from the list.
- View a preview of the layout under
Preview.
- Select a number from
Number of
pictures per row, and click OK.
Note If you choose
Slide Show or
Montage Layout,
this option will be unavailable (grayed out).
