Copy style formatting of text

1. Select the characters or paragraphs that have the formatting you want to copy.

   Important   If you select a paragraph, make sure the selection includes the paragraph mark. To see the paragraph marks, click Show All .

2. Click Format Painter , and then select the text to which you want to apply the formatting.

Note   To copy formatting to several locations, double-click Format Painter  and follow the steps above. When you are finished, click Format Painter again to apply the formatting to selected areas.
